Outdoor is the New Indoor: Patio Dining Room Inspiration

For the past few weeks we’ve been helping you get your coastal retreat ready for warmer weather. However, if you’ve been too busy keeping up with other New Year’s Resolutions to plan out your deck or patio in advance of Spring Break, don’t fear: we’ve got a fantastic outdoor dining room ready to order.

Outdoor is the New Indoor Inspiration B

Our outdoor dining room centers around a modern teak and stainless steel table from Kingsley-Bate.  We love this look and the high quality construction.  Pair the table with bright citrus-colored Asta sling chairs from Gloster and the contemporary Catalina Outdoor Bench from Lee Industries in a bright orange.

Add more visual bunch to the room with Surya’s outdoor pillows.  We think the bright floral and graphic orange patterns are a fun match for the bench and chairs.  (Just alternate the pillows in the chairs. Extra comfy and fun!)

Of course, making the outdoor dining area really feel like a room involves finishing touches.  Anchor the look with a contemporary take on a chevron pattern in this Surya outdoor rug. Bring a couple of great decorative or serving pieces outdoors. We really like the Willow Bowl from Arteriors Home. (It would really play off the stainless steel details in the table.)

Finally, roll a sturdy bar cart outdoors to serve up drinks and act as a sideboard during a meal.  The Altar Bar Cart with Glass Top from Emissary Home & Garden is sturdy enough to sit in a covered outdoor spot.  Now, pour a glass of wine and pull up a chair to join your friends and family for the festivities. Cheers!
